Eamor Western Saddle

A genuine piece of Canadian saddle-making history. This vintage F. Eamor western saddle was built in High River, Alberta, home of the famed Eamor’s Saddlery, and carries the original maker stamp on the fender along with a stamped 16” seat size. Full floral tooling covers the skirts, fenders, and pommel, set off by engraved silver corner plates and conchos and a roughout suede seat.

The leather shows honest use for its age. There is scuffing on the horn and cantle edges, the saddle strings are dry and cracking, and the suede seat is darkened from riding, but the tree feels solid and the sheepskin lining underneath is intact and full. A little oil would bring the tooling right back to life.
